Using this website

This site describes residential furnishing and room-planning services offered by Mallon Design Co., based in Tigard, Oregon. It provides general information and a way to prepare an inquiry. It does not accept payments or complete bookings.

Preparing an inquiry, copying it, or opening an email draft does not send a message, create a paid engagement, reserve a time, or commit you to a purchase. You choose whether to send the message. We will discuss availability and confirm any engagement directly.

Please use the site lawfully. Do not interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, or submit material you do not have permission to share.

Services and scope

Our services focus on living rooms and family rooms: furniture arrangements, furniture and fabric selections, and related decorative direction. A consultation provides guidance for your particular room; the website’s illustration is an illustrative concept, not a completed client project or measured construction plan.

These furnishing services do not include architectural or engineering work, construction supervision, building-code or permit determinations, structural advice, or electrical, plumbing, or other regulated trade services. Work requiring those services should be assessed by appropriately qualified professionals. Decorative suggestions are not a certification of product, installation, or building safety.

Please tell us about relevant needs and constraints, and verify final measurements, product specifications, access, and installation requirements before purchasing or changing your space. We will agree on responsibilities and deliverables in your project’s written scope.

Prices and project agreements

The website currently lists a $275, 90-minute home consultation and a $1,250 one-room furniture plan. If you begin with the consultation, its $275 fee is applied toward the $1,250 room-plan total. Furniture and other product purchases are separate.

Before you agree to paid work, we will confirm the scope, total design fee, any applicable tax, travel charge or other additional cost, payment timing, and cancellation, rescheduling, and refund terms in writing. Extra work requires a separately agreed scope and price. Ask about any item that is unclear before accepting.

Browsing or sending an inquiry incurs no charge. The website does not start a subscription or automatic recurring payment. Posted prices and service descriptions may change for future engagements; changes do not by themselves alter a price already agreed for your project.

A separate project agreement will address your engagement’s specific terms. Nothing on this page creates a blanket no-refund rule or replaces rights you have under applicable law.

Retailers and product choices

You purchase furniture and products directly from the retailers you choose. Their current prices, availability, product terms, delivery arrangements, warranties, and return policies apply to those purchases. We cannot promise that a product will remain available or that a retailer’s price will stay the same.

Review retailer details before ordering. Images and screen colors may differ from actual materials; samples and in-person checks can help where practical. We will disclose any referral payment or other material commercial relationship with a recommendation.

External links lead to independent services. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you visit them.

Website materials and project content

Website text, branding, and illustrations may be protected by copyright or trademark law. You may view the site and save or print information for your own evaluation of our services. Other uses that require permission remain subject to applicable copyright and trademark law, including its exceptions.

If you send room photos or other materials, share only what you are entitled to provide and what is needed for your request. Sending a photo for an inquiry does not give us permission to publish it as marketing or present it as a portfolio project.

Mallon Design Co. is an independent business. Mention of a retailer or other company does not imply affiliation or endorsement.

Questions, concerns, and your rights

We aim to keep the site accurate and usable. If you find an error, accessibility barrier, or concern about a service, contact mallondesignco@gmail.com or call 971-258-2925. Describe what happened and the help you need so we can review it.

These terms do not require arbitration, restrict honest reviews, or waive consumer protections, remedies, or other rights that cannot lawfully be waived. Any applicable law takes priority over a conflicting statement on this page. Nothing here excludes responsibility that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

We may revise these website terms and update the effective date. A revision does not automatically change an existing project agreement.
